According to a study conducted by the electronics company, Ricoh Europe, 90 percent education professionals stated that digital manufacturing and 3d printing technologies are vital to develop skills in graduates who are entering the labor market. The company surveyed 3150 educational professionals from all over the world.

In European schools, they are fast incorporating the Internet of Things (IoT) into the school curriculum. The learning of digital media is becoming a top priority in schools. Here 3d printing could also be included as it can be added to a variety of subjects. 3d printing can be used to explain complex theoretical concepts to students in a simple and practical manner. Not just that, but students also acquire knowledge about new technologies and learn to embrace them rather than being afraid of them. This is very important as by the time they enter the market place, the scenario could be very different from what it is now. These students will need to be learning friendly if they want to survive in the market of the future.

Design a Study Program with 3d Printing

When you look at the benefits of 3d printing, its use starts making more and more sense. But what can we do about integrating 3d printing into the entire curriculum and not as something to be kept for lab hours? And if we do add 3d printing to the curriculum, will the students be able to handle it with all the other subjects?

Uptil now the use of 3d printing technology has been mainly for making specific projects, whether it’s a small one-day project or a large endeavor. Support for 3D Printing in Schools

Right now, it is very important to support the schools and teachers who are trying their best to integrate 3d printing into their curriculums and classes. Their numbers are low right now, but there are huge opportunities in the field. But the problem is that the integration of 3d printing into the classrooms is becoming stagnant because of the lack of knowledge and experience. This technology is new not only for the students but for most of the teachers as well. There are a host of programs, 3d printing websitesand classes for hopeful teachers who desperately want to implement 3d printing in their classes but can’t do so for the lack of knowledge.
